Welcome to Teche Center for the Arts!

Our region is a source of passionate pride for residents. We never let a visitor leave without proudly telling them all the great things about Acadiana. We’re recognized internationally for deep-rooted and influential Cajun and Creole cultures, our Louisiana French language, delectable food, Cajun, Zydeco, and Blues music, many forms of performing arts, including the wildly popular Cajun and Zydeco dance, folk art and crafts, visual arts, and past and contemporary literary legends. This cultural revivalism carries traditions to new generations and improves the quality of life for residents and the many tourists who visit again and again.

Preserving and sharing our arts, history, and culture is the heart and soul of our mission. Our events and classes offer the “best of the best” in entertainment, educational experiences, French-language programs, iconic musical and theatrical performances on our stage, and exciting exhibitions by regional artists.

We hope that you will always feel part of our cherished TCA community.

Thank you for visiting. Please be sure to sign up for our newsletter, consider becoming a volunteer or member, donate to help us thrive, or contact us for more information on what’s happening here and when. Our Calendar of Events is continually updated so check back often.
